I can’t believe that there are still people out there missing the most fun free download of the last two years. It amazes me when I watch the news and call a friend and tell them to go to a certain bookmark in Google earth and they reply that they “don’t have Google earth” free software installed on their computer. I am always like, “why not, its free and downloads directly from Google?” They invariability remark that they have seen the buttons across the web but always thought it was another internet marketing scheme designed to steal their identities.
First I tell them to get Google earth and that if they cant trust a player like Google online they need to go back to writing letters and using the $2 directory assistance offered by the phone company. And secondly, is that a word, I show them an aerial view of their jobs or homes, and they get the rest right away. No it is never really difficult to convince a person to pick up google earth’s new free software download. After all they have to see that it is used on the news programs for weather and other geographical images. Google earth is without a doubt the new “average citizen” global surveillance tool. The law enforcement and government agencies use it also, “the software is simply amazing”, says Fred Ensign of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. “There are even pictures all over the Internet of baseball games, crime scenes, natural disasters and even your own house, I saw my house from about 50 feet up, I spend hours with this software. I am actually trying to talk my wife into buying the pay version, so I can use those extras. Yes you can now literally see your house from space free and easy with Google earth. I feel like a big time spy or something, I can even use it to see property for sale by address, Google earth is really easy to use and install.
